Lift & Co. Toronto 2019 Recap
The Lift & Co. Cannabis Expo continues to grow with its biggest year yet, a weekend filled with thousands of visitors to see industry focused seminars as well as consumer focused panels and exhibitors.
Experion’s very own Krystal Laferriere, Cannabis Wellness Expert and co-founder of Kanabé Goods Co., was invited to speak on a panel to discuss Cannabis, Clarity & Wellness – New and Overdue Treatments and Therapies. Joining her were industry heavyweights such as NextLeaf Solutions CEO, Paul Pedersen, and Dr. Ira Price, Assistant Clinical Professor Emergency Medicine at McMaster University, as well as moderated by CEO, International Cannabis Solutions, Kevin Hall.
Among the topics discussed were how cannabis can be integrated into wellness/treatment plans in the future through standardized dosing and reliable potency to ensure repeatable experiences. Also the emphasis on educating health practitioners on cannabis as a treatment option, removing the barrier and stigma to prescribing. There was lively discussion on what is coming with Value-Add Products (VAP’s) and how those can relate back to wellness therapies. Specifically Krystal spoke about how Kanabé topicals and sublingual oils were formulated to treat issues she experienced in dealing with a Crohn’s disease diagnosis and ultimately how cannabis infused products helped her achieve clinical remission for the last 9 years.
This was just one of many panel discussions, demo presentations, and enthusiastic exhibitors showing off their equipment, products and brands all housed at the beautiful Metro Toronto Convention Centre downtown Toronto.
We want to thank Lift for having us and look forward to the next one!
